It was a great experience today at Living Faith Church (A.K.A Winners Chapel) Worldwide. Today was marked covenant day of long life. At Faith Tabernacle Canaanland Ota Ogun State Nigeria World Headquarter, Bishop David Oyedepo ministered God’s blessings to the congregation.Below is a summary of his sermon:
…It is revelation that sets the base for
our perfection. It is what you believe that sets the power for you to become, Genesis
13:14-15. After the fall of man God established a new lifestyle for man. God
verdict on man’s life stands. John 10:10 Death has no final say about your
life. God creates long life for his people. Long life is God's agenda for his
people. "It shall be said of your family they don't die young". Genesis
25:8 old age is good. The devil puts fear in you just to defeat you. Genesis
13:20.
Genesis 28:22, Genesis 18:19. Everyone in
the covenant of tithing is in line to longevity.
Long life is your heritage. The more
fruitful you are the longer you live
THE SECRETS OF LONG LIFE:
- The fear of the Lord.
- Keeping your mouth and tongue.
- Humility
- Avoid fighting carnal battles
- Living by the Word
Also the Man of God talked about ‘Gateway
to financial heritage’. Financial heritage anchors on the covenant of seed time
and harvest time. It anchors on giving to your family, sick, poor, neighbors
etc. Financial fortune has tithing as its tap root. Tithers don’t die young.
Ex 23:25,26; John 15:16. Sitting down doing
nothing does not add value to anyone. Serving God adds value to your life…
CHANNELS OF GODS BLESSING
1. God blesses us through the reign of divine
ideas. Genesis 7:11, Isaiah 11:3.
2. God blesses us through the works of our hands.
3. God blesses us through divine favour.
4. God blesses us through priestly blessing.
If natural ideas builds empires how much
more divine ideas. Stop speaking slang to your destiny speak the word...
